We Need More People Like Him

Early last December, I was praying and God impressed in my heart to pray for the people in North Korea. North Korea has zero tolerance for Christianity. They have concentration camps with millions of people dying. They are malnourished, without food, without proper clothing. And because of this kind of life, (they are poverty stricken) a lot of citizens want to escape. A lot became refugees, fleeing to find refuge to a foreign country. God let them escape. Remember, the country doesn’t know Jesus. Zero tolerance. That’s why Jesus led them out of that country, not to escape. God took them out of the country because He wants them to find him. The only purpose of God letting them out of that prison is for them to know who
their Savior is – no other than Jesus Christ. If one or two or a hundred refugees find and know him then something difficult but good is coming to North Korea.

God wants us to pray for these refugees. These are North Koreans out of North Korea. It is now time to send them back. God wants us to pray and pray hard for them so that they will have the courage to go back. It’s going to be a daredevil mission. It is very possible that the government will punish and might even execute them, first for escaping and for returning. But God loves the people in North Korea. He never forgets his children. So, he is going to send these baptized refugees. They need our support. Let’s pray from them. In my heart, while I was praying I know some will be executed upon their return, but the important thing is that they are already saved. And most of all, they will transfer and share the Word of God to the people ‘inside.’

ROBERT PARK
On December 24, a Korean American named Robert Park (young man, 28) has reportedly crossed
the border from China to North Korea. While he was crossing the border, it was reported that he was shouting, "I come here as an American citizen to proclaim God's love." Some witnesses even said that he was brandishing or waving his bible while crossing the border in a dignified manner with his shoulders squared.

Then he announced he was going to enter the North because he was convinced that the time for action has come," He hoped his act will sound a starting signal for those who are interested in human rights in North Korea but are still hesitant to act.

Robert Park is young, but he is ready for whatever God is planning in his life. I believe what he did on December 24 changed and shook the earth. That is how God operates. I pray that like this young man, we will have the courage to do his will. Park prayed for an hour at the China-North Korea border before crossing the river, during which he claimed to have heard God's voice telling him not to be afraid. Let’s us God to give us strong will to obey and to follow, for without him we can not do anything.

Sir George Washington

Dear Father God,

I came across the story of this extraordinary man. You changed the history of the world through his life. The greatest thing about him was he lived to fulfill your purpose in his life. On his deathbed, the very last words he uttered were “It is well…” In an amazing way, those words ministered to my spirit. I felt such peace, such deep remarkable peace… and it’s all because of you. Whatever life brings… waves and turbulences, satisfaction and triumph, pain and tears… I will say it all over again in worship to your name….”It is well.”

I am at this point where I feel empty… at a blank. Clueless is a better word for it. But knowing that we are in-love… that wherever life brings me, I will always have you as the love of my life. Help me remember “us.”

2 Corinthians 4:18 (New International Version, ©2010)
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I know that this race is towards you. The promise that we will be together someday is worth the miles of running. At times I chase my breath. You’re worth every drop of blood from heart. You’re worth every heartache and tears. I just want to say that I love you. I will not regret choosing you and loving everything about you. Sometimes, waiting is a wonderful ally.

Martin the Dreamer

When people are pressed down by injustice and stripped-off their selfhood, they may plunge down the grave, but faith and hope which are heaven sent will resurrect their lives and make them climb up from the pit of despair and inequality. The hope they breathe flowing with the breeze in the morning while waiting for the new sunrise will help them gather courage which is found in every heart determined to face and fight not just for oneself, but for everyone who has the right to be treated as equal, not just flesh and blood, but as human -- with soul, body and spirit.

Sir Martin was the embodiment of greatness found in every soul, converged into a person with deep convictions who is willing to fight not with violence but with a noble and valiant heart prepared to sacrifice one’s life for the redemption of everyone. Truly, his moving speech entered the lives, not just of those who were present in that fateful day, but dwelled in the minds of those who heard his words carrying the spear and fire of wisdom. I believe God did not plan such violence and oppression against his highest creation, that is why He would send people of higher calling to subdue this shockingly dreadful cruelty. His time here on Earth was not wasted. The words flowing from his heart became alive and gave stronger revelation rooted with passion and love for freedom and equality. The message was not just for the Negroes in North America, but it represents every person who is under such disparity.

He lived by faith and not by sight. His heart was looking directly at the future, when his children will no longer be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. He may not live to see the fulfillment of his prophetic dream, but his children did and so his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and that is -- his life’s purpose… undoubtedly completed and remarkably divine. His life was a blessing to history. The life of Dr. King carries the fragrant atmosphere of freedom, that when people start dreaming, indeed, it will come to fruition. It may not happen in our time, but trust that in God’s time it will.
