Amid the Violence in Syria

Father God in Heaven,

You are powerful and sovereign. The ruler of all nations in the world. I come to you in humility and reverence. I pray for the people in Syria. I ask you Father God in heaven to put an end to the war and dreadful violence in the land. Minister to their hearts and send peace and comfort. Your perfect will is to bless your people and the nations. You are the God of peace and not war. You are the God of love and not hate. I ask that you protect your people. Give them hope amid the violence in Syria. Let them start afresh and find shelter and refuge in the place you will lead them. Hold their hearts and I pray in Jesus' Name that you will be their only source of strength.

Father God,

I worship you today in my life. I exalt your wonderful name and I lift your name up upon the heavens. You are great and you do great and wonderful things. I exalt you on high and I bring glory to your name. Nothing is impossible with you. You are awesome in my heart. You are worthy of praise forever. Continue to move in my life and in my world. Let your purpose be fulfilled as I surrender my whole life into your powerful and loving hands. I glorify you Father God in my life. I pray and ask for the forgiveness of my sins. Redeem me from all of the fowler's snare. Make me fix my eyes on you alone and be forever magnified in my life. Cleanse me within and let springs of living water flow in my life and let your love overflow throughout the world, through your Spirit.

Prayer for Syria

Heavenly Father,

I pray for the people in Middle East today. I saw photos of people lying in their own blood. Comfort those grieving for them. Comfort their families and loved ones. I pray for peace in the middle east. I pray for Syria and their government. I ask you Father God in Heaven to send restoration and gladness back in their hearts. I pray for serenity amidst the chaos. I pray for the children who lost their parents. I pray for these kids. I pray that there will be families to provide them home and shelter. Have your way in their lives. Open the heavens and pour our your blessings over Syria. Let your love abound in all of them. Have your way in their hearts.
